Sauer & Sohn Model 1930 Behorden 7.65 / .32The Model 1930 Behorden pocket pistol by J.P. Sauer & Sohn was produced in the early 1930s and was use mainly by German police departments and other government agencies. Many semi-automatic pistols were adopted into German police and military service. The Behorden Sauer pistols, while produced only until 1937, were also used as a staff officer's pistol by the German Army. The security lock fitted into the face of the trigger provided an additional safety for this design, which also incorporated a loaded chamber indicator. The Behorden or authority/official" pistol as this model was designated by J.P. Sauer & Sohn of Suhl, Germany was chambered for the 7.65mm handgun cartridge utilized in many German service sidearms.
